My brother's buying me a 240 this weekend. I don't know what the difference between the 97 and the 98 are? Anybody know?

very little, if any difference. the '97-'98's both have the facelift to projector headlamps (after m/c...minor change)

I don't think there is any difference. Maybe options available were different but as far as engine and body style goes, I believe they are identical.

thanks, I've heard so many BS info from other people. They're all telling me that the engine is more powerfull and other shit about the body being different.

The body is a bit different. The 95-96 front bumper has a lower lip (most of them are black), and the 97-98 doesn't: the 97-98 has a different hood (more "streamlined" with sharper edges), whereas the 95-96 has a more rounded hood and headlights: and the taillights are different than the 95-96.

Jesus H. Christ - after the numerous SE/LE Zenki/Kouki arguments you created last month, you STILL haven't figured this out? Didn't you view the brochures that were linked to before? Just buy the F'N thing already!
It's like you and NiteKids made a pact to see who could ask the most assanine questions. I think you're winning!
