View Full Version : Ka24de BROKEN IACV Plug?

So here is the deal, I am in the process of getting ready for a DOHC swap into my 90 s13.

However. The IACV plug/FICD plug is broken.

Like. Not the wire part, or even the plug. But the Metal/ceramic part past that is broken in half. Basically a bit before where the zip tie is, in this picture.

Is this necessary to a functioning engine? How/where can I get the plug in part from?

I'd really rather not have to buy a whole new IACV.

Any tips?

yea u definitely need it, otherwise ur engine won't idle

find someone parting out a KA or check the junkyards like shadowhunter said

Damn...

Any ka24de should have a similar one right?

Cause 240s aren't exactly swarming junkyards...
