hey guys, i doing a z32 rear brake swap on my s14 and i was going to get different rear lines, but after taking the rear apart and inspecting a little i was wondering why i havent stumbled across this solution:

re-use the oem banjo fitting and bolt and bolt directly onto the caliper.

i cant see the pics but it sounds to me like you are doing this wrong.

why dont you just do it correctly and get the proper line with the flared fitting?

doing some shitty rigging on your brake system is definitely not something you should be doing.

it possible that the banjo fitting can spin with the absense of the little notches on the caliper. this could cause the banjo bolt to eventually back out causing brake failure.

Yaaaaa nevermind. After thinking about it a little more it's more worth it to just get the other fitting.

Thanks guys

I'm using the stock banjo fittings on my R33 brakes, you just have to pull the little nipple out of the caliper so the bolt can thread in all the way. Been running this way for 2 years.
