I have looked for pictures to find out what going into a spot on my motor its on the exhaust side of the block kinda toward the back and would be right under the head. It is a vertical hole that goes into the block and im not sure what goes there. if someone could help it would be appreciated

Is this motor up and running?
My guess is stock water line for turbo, but can't be certain.
If that was missing/uncapped and you tried to run the car or fill it with coolant, you would see it pouring out.

Yeah its the vent tube, I hope your saying that the tube is there you just dont know where the line connects to, Or that your rebuilding ur motor and the head is not on yet, You have to put that tube in the hole BEFOR the head goes on

Ut oh imma guess head is already on.....yeah there is no way to get it on now and yes you do HAVE to have that tube there. If you want to do it the right way you need to pull the head again and then put the tube there. NOW you can cut about 1/8" off the bottom of the tube the part that goes into the block and reallllly tightly get it in there, but if you want it to be perfect i would just pull head

You talking about that black tube that sticks up in the back?
I dont see why'd you would have to pull the head to install it. Maybe the manifold but you should still be able to put it in with the head still on.
