Description
Here we have a Complete CA18DET swap. It comes with many many cool things. Why is the price so low? Here's the catch. As noted in the pictures. There is a flywheel bolt broken off in the crankshaft on the assembled engine. Hence why there is an additional CA18 block. My original plan was to replace the crankshaft in the assembled engine with the good one in the extra block. I simply don't have time to play around with this engine anymore. So I took the CA out and run a stock KA24 engine now. Also, when we took the engine out, there was a little oil in the turbo inlet, I never noticed anything out of the ordanary when running the car. The oil is most likely from the crankcase ventilation tube that goes into the intake, but I have a Garrett turbo rebuilt included just incase.

Please do not hesitate to ask anything about this engine. I've been up front with everything and will not hide anything. Either post in the thread, or email me at [email protected]

What's needed to run
- Crankshaft swapped, or broken bolt drilled out. Currently the bolt holes in the crank are 7/16" -20 thread. The stock flywheel bolt holes were bored to 7/16"
- New flywheel.I have the flywheel, but the bolt holes are bored to 7/16" and it is pretty worn. If you manage to get the bolt out and the threads are still good in the crank, you will need to bore out the bolt holes in your replacement crankshaft to 7/16"
- Clutch
- Cold start valve installed (very easy. The hard part was getting it, and that's already done!)
