ka24e head swap

Ok I have check all ova and have found only partial answers to my question.

Can you swap out the head of a e with a de head??

My senerio and idk if it would be a good idea
I have two ka24e blocks both with a spun bearing. I am planing on doing a na setup and have a de head, if I put the de head on my e block what would I need?? And since I know it puts out high compresion can I run stock internals? How hard is it to fix the spun bearings??

Most importantly I read some ones post on nico that did this he wrote that it cost him less then 300 to do this can this be done???

there is a DE head you can get that bolts up perfectly to the E block and its from the frontier truck. you should look it up on ka-t.org though this has been covered for a long time now there is a lot of misinformation so be careful
