Help!!!!!!!!!!

Well im new to the whole nissan 240sx stuff and i need some help.
I just bought a 1992 240sx se with hicas.
i was just going through all the threads and i dont have a clue of what you guys are all talking about (s13, s14, ka, etc.????)
If some one could help me along that would be greatly appreciated.
I really want to learn more and do some performance mods.

You can get almost anything you want from it...

S13's are 1990 to 1994
S14's are 1995 to 1998

The 1995 to 1998 have the KA24DE engine..
I know the 1990 had the KA24E engine
The SR20DE is the engine that came in the car in japan and some other places... In japan this car is a Silvia.. In australia its a 200sx

Your car has the KA24E engine which is slightly less powerfull then the KA24DE engine. You super hicas is all wheel stearing... And the SE means you have the upgraded wheels and swaybars? (help me out people I dont own a 92)

The best 1st thing you can do with your car is to make sure its all in tip top shape.... After that... Air intake, Bigger Sway Bars, Strut tower bars, and other things....

Hey Red thanks alot that helped out alot
and yea i got an inspection before i bought the car and the only 2 things wrong with it was the power antenna and the lights dont close.
Again thanks soo much for your help. I didnt mean to be so ignorant i just got overwhelmed.

Red is partially correct,

Your car came with the KA24de,

S13 is chassis code for 1989-1994
S14 is 1995-1998

KA = engine code
24 = 2.4 liter
D = Dual overhead cam
E = electronic fuel injection

1989-1990 came with the single overhead cam (KA24E)
1991-1994 came with DOHC

s14 models (1995-1998) came with DOHC also.
