Hey guys, so I have to buy one fpr, but I dont know much about them. So wich one is good(what company), what kind of fitting do I need, is the one with the gauge better than the others? Any of you had any experience fitting this? Any help would be apreciated.
Thank you.
I have a sr20det 91 and I will pull about 300 whp ( I think)

IIRC the only direct fitting FPR is the nismo one designed to fit the SR/KA fuel rail. It mounts in the stock location and comes with a new o-ring. Make sure you get the direct fit nismo unit though, not the universal. You will need a pressure gauge to adjust the setting on the FPR as well. For universals, AEM and aeromotive also make good ones.

So you are saying that if I buy the nismo fpr I dont need any fitting with it?
If thats what you said then
nismo fuel pressure regulator - FRSport.com Search (http://www.frsport.com/index.php?target=products&mode=searchImproved&q=nismo+fuel+pressure+regulator&x=0&y=0) wich one should I pick in these 2 ?

whats wrong with a ISIS FPR? im going to be using a ISIS FPR soon just to see how it performs. it looks very identical to the aeromotive and seems to be nicely built

ok, the gauge worth more than the fpr itself lol... DANG:rl:
Does the gauge change anything in this, cause I can buy one for 60$ and another one for 200$?

Get a good one....SARD or Aeromotive.
Then you need an adapter that fits into the end of the fuel rail (where the OEM FPR goes) and converts it to an NPT fitting (maybe AN, I forget).

The gauge does not change anything. Search for a "how to" on this forum for the install. If you don't get an FPR with gauge already on it, find a liquid filled gauge for accuracy vs the non-filled where vibrations may make it inaccurate. Hint for ya: don't over tighten the gauge.
great more expensive(praised on this forum) fpr: sard, aeromotive
good cheaper fpr: nismo...works for me

Nismo is plug and play but there are two kinds out there one that bolts up to the rail and one that requires an adapter. both are good but i think you said you're looking for one you can bolt right up.
