Front Cover Removal

I need to get my front cover off. To do so I need to get the crank pulley off. A guide I was following said to rotate the crank until TDC, then put it in 5th, ebrake on, and I should be able to get the nut off the crank pulley bolt.

But that didn't work. How do I get the sucka off?

if all else fails try to borrow a impact gun.

You can get one of those strap or chain wrenches and hold the pulley with it as you are loosening the bolt. If not then you're gonna have to get an impact gun. I've had to do this and ended up renting a compressor from Home Depot.
