None of the parts places locally are showing one in their catalog, neither is RockAuto.
Dealers want $500.
I need to do some more diagnosis, but the low side is reading at 100psi AFAIK when the low side is high it's usually a compressor issue.
I need to check the pressure switch and fuses first.
However; it's hot here and I want to get the ball moving in case it's a compressor after all.
Thanks

what is your high side pressure. have you checked to make sure you even have refrigerant and how much. air can compress give you a false reading.

I don't have a set of manifold gauges anymore. They were stolen when my workshop was broken into. I had a can of freon with a built in guage (low pressure fitting only). Fortunately my other A/C tools were left intact.
They had mentioned here they can send mine out for a rebuild. It's about 90 degrees though and it's my daily driver...
This month has sucked. Needed a water heater, clutch/flywheel, 4 new tires, my dog got bit and needed stitches and I owed the IRS this year.
I have a couple guys making phone calls around town looking for something.
Anyone know how to bypass the pressure switch to see if I get good pressures once it's running? One my wife's saturn I had to do that to initially charge it. Maybe it's not the same on the 240sx (she only had two wires, mine has four).

CAR-PARTS.com Its a site that searches salvage yards across the U.S. I've had good luck finding all sorts of parts for my kouki and my STi

thanks...holding off on used at this time. Found a few online new/rebuilt for $190.
It kicked on for about 5 mins last night driving home. I am getting 12V (13.xx actually) at the clutch. I am going to check continuity this morning (too hot last night still in that area).
I am suspecting it may be just a bad clutch....however may as well replace the compressor with 112,xxx on it and used probably all those miles here in S. Florida.
