I Charge a Little more than the guy on top of me I do them for 60$ (just remove the diff and bring it to me I clean and prep after all prep work is the 2nd most critical part of doing a diff) I have yet to have any of my diff's fail. They have gone on everything from a Twin 2560 RB26 car, to a single cam KA. i back my differentials up by a life time warranty and if you sell the diff it transfers over to the new owner. ;)

Its better to take it out so that you can properly clean & degrease it. Also you can get in better position for welding when its out on a work table or vise. Not that it cant be done in car just a PITA:eek3:

I got mine done by some marines at camp pendleton... A case of beer was all they wanted for payment and the things got the beefiest welds I've seen in my life. I guess you could say its "bulletproof" lol see what I did there? -_-
