I'm sure we've all seen it, a coupe that got rear ended and the bumper isn't all that bad but the rear quarters have buckled, the spare tire well is pushed in and the floor of the trunk is buckled too. whats the deal with this? is it as pricey as I think it may be to pull the trunk back out into shape? I've seen this on like 3 or 4 rear ended coupes and didn't buy 'em becuase of it. from what I could see the frame rails are well below the trunk area so when it takes a rear end impact the trunk gets trashed. anyone ever repaired damage like that? if so what did it run you?

I've seen it, but always did the same as you, walked, and looked for another.

i bought a parts car from a friend. his car was rear ended, the fenders were pushed in, the area inside where the wheel wells are were pushed in as well, basically it was shorter than a normal coupe. it was estimated that it would cost 3gs to fixed.
