No u could import them I'm not sure about up to date tho. And for the people that wernt sure u cannot register a r33 or 34 in the united states.u can a 32 tho. Id like to know the price also.

do you have the japanese de-registration papers, as well as a DOT/ Customs bond release to go with the car for your sale? not to bag on you, it is a clean car, but i would need to have those papers with the car if i were to buy it, and i suggest to anyone else looking for one of these to check and see if it has the paperwork too, you have a 1997, which is legal to register, and title here in the us. all r33's made from 96.5 -98 can be legally imported, and registered, they just need to pass smog and have some minor changes made. oh and they need the de registration paperwork, and bond release, well the dmv needs those to title, and register it

yea to the person asking about the papers ... i have the shipping paper for the car ...its all in japansese so i really dont know what it is...it has what i believe to be the matching vin on the ...everthing on that paper is on the blue placard on the car...and yes im asking for more...powercoated wheels ...tune ...greddy knock off manifold...q45 thrttle body ...720cc injectors...20 lbs of boost...not stock anymore...my asking price is 18k i believe.... thank you for your time people...
