its great that zilvia isnt a place full of people obsessed with packing in hundreds of pounds of mdf boxes and giant speakers into their cars.

this is a thread for discussion of car stereo stuff

hopefully it wont turn into crap (though it probably will)

to start. i'm looking for a cd player, i don't care about audio quality/whatever that much

looking for

-2 knobs, volume/tuning (little buttons to adjust the radio is annoying as hell)

-cd player

-am/fm radio (obviously)

aux capability (for an mp3 player or whatever)

as stock looking as possible (black face, no flashy stupid colors)



any recommendations are appreciated

how hard is it to wire oem nissan stereos from newer cars into 240s? do they have stupid security features to be delt with like mercedes and other cars?
