Howdy guys,
As the title says I need to replace the ruptured fuel tank in my s13 with a spare one but I have never had to do this before. If anyone could give some instructions on how to go about it or link me to a tutorial that would be awesome.
Help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Jay

If memory serves my right... just disc fuel pump.. should be a couple elec conections and like 2 lines then there are 2 straps hold the tank up... and you have to disc the filler neck..
from what I remember it wasn't that hard

disconnect fuel pump, remove fuel send and return hoses, remove vent hose, then unbolt the two straps holding it up. get ready to remove the trim around the filler neck when you get the straps off.

ive done it on an s14, what i did was drop the entire rear end (sub frame with everything attached.) then theres 2 metal straps that hold the tank in place. at the the bottom of them, there should be pins you can pull out. make sure you disconnect everything such as lines, bolts by the gas door and whatever else.

Thanks guys.
I'm sure I won't need to drop the subframe. All I'm really worried about are the bolts holding the straps being rusted.
what exactly is going to happen with the trim around the filler?

just use an impact and the trim need to be removed to get to a bolt holding the neck..
