1996 bmw 328is 5-speed $3000

1996 BMW 328is

-black exterior/black interior

-5-speed, shifts great

-Motor is Stock! no mods. only BMW recalled items which were replaced by the dealership. runs great.

-207k miles (highway miles, previous owner commuted 150miles a day, and i commute about 80 miles a day to school)

-oil changed every 4000miles or less

-m-contour wheels

-black borbet 16" winter wheels/tires

-lowered on v-maxx coilovers, rides great

-new radiator and thermostat

-new starter

-new fuel pump

-inspected until 3/11



the bad:


clutch slips if you shift hard or dump the clutch. its been doing this since i bought it but i dont beat on it at all and it hasnt gotten any worse.

CEL is on. has a weird ecm code. just needs reprogrammed or soemthing. i have a spare ecm to go along with it (you would have to swap the chips).

random engine misfire on warm starts. happens randomly and if it does, just turn the car off and start it again and it goes away. annoying but never bothered me enough to look into it. lol.

heat and a/c work, but i think the fan is broke because it doesnt blow out very strong.

one of the rear seat belts is stuck

drivers seat doesnt slide forward to let passengers in the back

small tear in drivers seat bolster (about an inch long)

wiper fluid stopped squirting recently. everything is hooked up... must be the pump or a fuse or something

light clunking noise from the front left suspension over harsh bumps. i beleive it is the ball joint wearing out, but it hasnt affected the driving of the car.

no rust anywhere. there is a scrape on the driver side corner of the rear bumper (you can see it in the one pic with the cat under the car).

i may be interested in trades but it would have to be in my favor.
