water pump question, help!?

ok so my car overheated and didnt know wat it was
i was told do the stat so i did but then i ran it and tried to let the coolent run thru and bubbles out but then i noticed it was leaking alot from the bottom
im guessing its the water pump now lol
so my question is since i filled it wit coolent if i remove the wp will all the coolent fall out????
also i never done it so does any one have a write up?
i found one but i like to see pics too
so if some one can help i would appreciate it alot.............thanks!

yes the coolant drains. maybe not all but most. If you haven't used it, just drain it and recycle.

Just a quick Google search away my friend. Might save you some hassle from people in the future.
