Use paypal next time. At least you have a higher chance of getting your money back.

yup i learned my lesson. i used to use money orders on other forums to buy shoes, same type of deal. i figured it was legit, had a picture and stuff with his name. i didnt wanna use paypal cause he wanted more money for the paypal feels. just pretty shity, but i thought it would have been a good deal. he had another thread and a couple people said they could vouch for him, but i screwed up.

I just got off the phone with paypal and made a claim right away, he said that he would ship the turbo out on friday. So if all goes well there shouldn't be a problem.

Sorry to hear you got scammed out of it. There are a lot of people who come onto this forum just to buy or sell stuff. It really is hard to trust people with virtually no history on Zilvia.

On one of my other forums (im just a forum member) they have a 100 posts 60 day rule:
You have to have at least 100 posts and have been a member for at least 60 days in order to post new threads or respond to anything in the classified sections. (Greeting new members and post whoring do no count towards that post count).

I think it'd be a good thing to do on Zilvia.net to prevent things like this.

I think I might have gotten scammed to. Does anyone have any other information on the kid? I have a friend trying to get some more information out of him from txting and I plan on giving him a call in a little bit.

Immediately tomorrow morning I will be calling my bank and paypal to start disputing this whole mess.

I am from the Miata community and we are not very fond of scammers. If I don't get my money back or a tracking number for the turbo by tomorrow I am very likely to have some friends go make a visit to the kid.

Around what time did he send you the text? I got a text around 1:30am from him. I have sent him 2 more texts since then and gotten no responses. I will be calling him and what I believe are his parents tonight.

I actually sent a mod a pm about Worfless scamming and have not heard back from the mod.

I spent an hour at Wachovia today and they should be getting me my money back. Once it is back the account will be closed so paypal can not touch it any more.

Now I guess I am back on the lookout for a GT2860 or GT2871 from someone reliable on here.
