3 12" type r's for rims

i have 4 17" enkei edr9s that are $628 brand new on tirerack.com,one of my buddies that does the car audio at best buy wants to trade me 3 12" alpine type r's brand new in box,the rims have tires that are almost brand new that were $55 a piece from tirerack,there is like a inch scratch from where some idiot messed up putting the tire on but its not noticeable,otherwise they are in great condition besides brake dust,think this is a fair trade?or should i ask for more?

Not a fair trade. You can pick up 12in type r's on ebay for around 100 bucks all day. I should know cause I have 3 myself.

I cant make the decision for you. If you want the alpines get him to throw in some cash. Your stuff is worth approx. 800+ his 330+. You do the math.

fuck Alpine, i've blown Alpine subs and fried Alpine amps. junk junk junk. killed a pair of Type S's, and they weren't being pushed very hard. also a V12 amp went up in smoke on me once.
Sell those wheels and get yourself some Diamonds. and push them with a Phoenix Gold
