tie tod modification

k so i found out yesterday that the tie rods do not quite fit. They would not toe out enough. Because the inner tie rod is too long. SO i was thinking if i can just cut a small amount off on the end to make outer tie rod go in further letting me toe it out properly. what you guys think of that???

Im using Project Silvia inner and outer ones.
