I posted the voting thing for the tv host here in New Mexico, and she ended winning, I hope you guys can help out with this again!

Long story short, we are trying to get the E2 Visa changed. As of now, you must renew your E2 Visa every 5 years. This creates a problem though. In order to have an E2 Visa, you MUST basically invest $200k+ into a business. The reason that this is a problem is because if the E2 Visa does not get renewed, what happens to the business? For instance, the E2 business owners employee over 1 MILLION people here in the US. This creates jobs, cash flow, and a more competitive edge within other businesses. What the reform does is you can receive a LPR (green card) if you graduate from an American College (mainly meant for the kids of the E2 Business owners), or after 5 years of showing that the business is successful and that the E2 owners are actually paying taxes and are a productive member of society they get a LPR(green card). This would create a stable platform and encourage business owners to expand and invest more because they know that they will be able to stay here. There are 140,000 E2 Visa owners, but 1.2 million illegals. This bill DOES NOT affect the illegal immigrants, but encourage the legal ones who went through the proper procedures and are paying taxes while employing AMERICAN citizens, NOT other E2 Visa owners or illegal immigrants. I really hope you guys can help out, I'm pretty far right and don't generally don't liek immigration, but fully support this.
