Im trying to find out which one would be better for lowering NO number for smog. I have read about people using both with good results.

I have personally only hear of people using denatured. But then again, ive PERSONALLY never done this before...

Thanks. I still gotta check the crammed vaccum hoses in the rear first. I calened out the egr system already but the car doesnt die or stumble when i push up on the egr from the bottom.

Make sure that the egr and bpt are not torn and working properly. Run denatured alcohol and get the the test done.

If the EGR/BPT valve doesn't work, you won't pass.
Period.
Make it work.
