fuel line routing for S13 SR20 motor

I had to remove my intake manifold to replace some coolant lines under it. I can't remember how the fuel line were hooked up. Where should the line coming out of the flat side of the fuel filter be hook up to? The fuel pressure regulator side of the fuel rail or the side without the regulator?

Best way to remember, line from FPR NOT into the fuel filter.

the lines go from the top of the fuel filter (or the flat side as you call it) to the side closest to the fire wall.

then the other side of the fuel rail closest to the front of the car with the fpr bolted onto it is the return line back to the gas tank
