Is it me or those Hyundai be stealing other motor companys design for example look at the Hyundai Elantra headlights and look at The Nissan Skyline If you people thinks this is a coincidence take a look at the Hyundia site look at the cars and make decision.

In some ways I agree and in others I don't... ussually the number one design requirment of headlights is just that... projecting the light. Once a good design is found, look for it to be used thoughtout the industry such as those.
WRX = neon
Chaser = BMW
Hyundai = R34... and so on,
Don't really think it is an intential copy... remember they have to design with specs of gov regualtions and the light manufaturer as well.

hehehe... yup. but, everyone here says they look like neon lights.... time to get the JDM spec HID's... hopefully those will be more readily available if the STi does come to the US as many are stating...
Too bad they are already going to be doing a front face lift in the next year or so.

I agree but also look at the tail lights on one of there cars looks similar to the taillamps on a jaguar. Also they have a model where the front end looks like the lincoln LS and another that looks like a mitsu diamante. Take a close look some time and watch how close they look to some of these and other models. However, I don't have a problem with them offering similar styling at a far cheaper price and with a great warranty. The New tinuron is sweet looking. I sat in one yesterday at the auto show. They have potential to be a tight ride. You can flame me 4 that statement......or you can check one out in person first and then reply. latas

A fact is a fact. No one can flame you for this. You still have to admit that Hyundai has horrible engineering.

So I guess, more appropriately, '95-'96 240's look like '93 Camrys. I haven't noticed, but then again...I don't even remember what '93 Camrys looks like. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

It's true, the old Camrys do look like S14s.
Have you noticed that the rear lights off of Lex SC300 look like S13 coupe tailights???

Accordingly, have you all noticed that a 1929 Ford Model T has the same taillights as a Toyota Paseo?

I agree that a hyundai will NOT be in my driveway anytime soon, but Honda started out the same way. When it was first introduced americans said it was a cheap econo box....but it got good gas milage. It was affordable and therefore americans bought it. soon they improved there engineering(not much in my opinion...j/k) and now they make quality? cars. Only time will tell if Hyundai can break the ishbox label and begin to make attractive, Quality cars. I'm still not buying one anytime soon though!!

I wouldn't say that a front face lift is a bad thing.. specially on the WRX. i hate the stupid goofy lights.
