Where can I find the lights that fit into the vented area below the turn signals on an s13? I think the PDM-240 has them. I plan on buying the PDM front spoiler but it looks better with those lights. IMHO

its canada only item i believe
some areas require daytime running lights
when i was up there, most (so many) of the cars had oem daytime running lights.

i dont like them. ist a perfect location for a oil or tranny cooler.

makes front end too busy. too many lights.

So you dont think I should get them? I think they look good. I dont like the look of the vent in there. Does anybody make anything else that can go in there that looks decent?

some good looking fog lights would look nice...if not, i woul.d try to fab something using some mesh grill or something like that...

mesh grille is alright, but check out this link attachment thinghy...In canada we have these running light things, you can hook it up to a switch easily if you want (in my car they turn on when the Ebrake is off)

you can probably order them from a junkyard in Canada or from a Canadian Nissan Dealership

mine have an upgraded halogen bulb inside

twitchy: Yes that is what I want. I actully wouldnt mind if the lights didnt even come on I just want something in that hole rather than the vent and I thought that the light looks best.

yea i'm interested in those lights too. I would really like some fog lights that would fit in there pretty good.

Im not all about paying $90 for some lights tho come on.:aw:I know that comes with all of the hardware and wires you need but I dont want to pay that much for the lights.

To get the look you're asking for, you may have to pay that much. Shop around more for a better price, though I'd say think the whole thing through. If you plan on making any major mods to the engine, you'll need space and then you'll have wasted that money. But on the other hand, if you don't have those kind of plans then go for it...it looks nice....

So, how much DO factory NISSAN lights cost then, oh young rookie? $90 is DIRT cheap considering OEM lamps usually cost hundreds.

If you want $20 dollar Tenzo foglights, by all means, buy them. Dont complain about the prices, this is not a Honda. You get what you pay for. In this case, you are BUYING an OEM NISSAN part that is made in Japan and very rare because its mostly for the Canadian market (not sure if they used these in Japan, maybe).

SO. If you want cheaper, get aftermarket generic foglights and look typical. These are authentic.

Personally, I dont like them.. they use 1156 bulbs which are janky and useless. I would rather keep those lower ports open to cool an SMIC or vent the brakes. I would rather spend that money on a quality set of headlamps.

i would have to agree with old-s13 on this one...its the price you pay to look good. And Nissan DID have the job of designing the front end on the s13 and they chose to put those grilles there, whether they do anything or not.
Personally, i think those lights look gorgeous and really add to the front of the car, but as for the whole mesh idea, thats what the hondaboys do man. I know this because i used to be one.

anyways...no matter how well you make the inserts, something still looks kinda off and for lack of a better word "ricey". Sorry i had to say it. I really didnt want to.
So if it were me i would either go with the lights or leave it the way it is. Or you could always cut the drivers-side one out to get cooler air to the intake.:D
and remember...the cheap way isnt always the best way

Im sorry I didnt know the price of the oem lights. I see this must have made you mad in some way. And I never once compaired my car do a "HONDA" and geeze man I just asked a simple question and said I didnt want to pay $90 which I didnt know was dirt cheap for these lights...If this has to do with anything...I can't even legally drive yet(hence the name YoungRookie) and I havnt been into Nissans for a long time so I dont know the expected prices to pay for some items.
