The FIA has relaunched this as a World Championship series for 2010. It seems that the Nissan GT-R will be competing in this, two of them actually. All races will be streamed live on the FIA GT1 World Championship - Official Site (http://gt1world.com/). First race is April 17. Is anyone else going to follow this?

I love their schedule.

The US needs to get on the GT car thing. I'm tired of stock cars. Just imagine if GT cars got the financial backing that nascar has.

Yeah, I think its great its got World Championship status. This puts it in with F1, WRC, and WTCC. I believe that the winner of this series also gets automatic invitation to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Since this is an English broadcast (with a live, legal, and free stream) it will be easier to follow than something like Super GT.

Fixed that for you.
