it was a long one here lasted a good 30-40 seconds. That was actually a pretty sizable quake. I mapped it out and we are like 340 miles away and we felt it. I would be willing to bet it would have caused some major damage if it had been in a large population base area. According to the maps it was somewhere out in the desert around Guadalupe in Baja.

To add to that, Not only are we moving up, but we are moving into each other.. Meaning, One day, in about 70,000 years, you will be able to see Windows in LA Sky Scrapers from the Highest point of San Francisco ..

Also heard there was a 4.1 in Sac shortly after, Not a After shock.. and another Quake in Imperial 5.1 after shock...

That's what I thought too. I was gonna get ready to get up and dash, but never had to.

I was at Ericcastro's house, we were sitting at the dinner table and he was writing something down. I just thought it was him moving the table but he eventually stopped and asked, "Do you feel that?"

It was strange. That was the slowest moving quake I've felt. It felt like we were up in a tree on a kind of windy day.

the plates are sliding north south but overall geographically the Pacific is subducting under the North American Continental plate as well.
