hey guys i got a bride brix seat and it sits a little high (my head is about half an inch from the roof lol) also the seat is a bottom mount. the brackets that im using now i believe is a weapon r or some other brand and on top im using bride sliders. my idea would be to get say buddy club side mount sliders that already can bolt up to the car, weld 2 plates of metal on top so i can bolt the seat on the slider/bracket. would this be lower than what i have now? i was thinking of getting the bride MO but what i would be making would ultimately be the same? any ideas let me know!
heres what im thinking of fabbing up:

Thats actually how bottom mount rails are. The only difference is depending on the seats, the holes could be in the middle or on the side closer to the rails. My Recaros, the holes are actually on the rail itself. So i have to slide the seat forward or back to get to the allen wrench bolts.

:) would you think this would be lower than my set up?

what about just using L brackets to attach the seat to the unmodified side mount rail?

oh so you mean like the bracket i have now huh? just bolt it straight to the bracket and no slider? interesting!

well i guess you could do that too...

i was thinking, if the seat will fit between the mounts, you could just use 4 L brackets to attach the bottom mount seat holes to the side mount brackets and still retain the sliders...
