i've searched "obd2" "obd1 obd2" "obd2 swap" all that stuff and nothing, at least from what i saw

i was wondering if anybody knew how to do this swap?

from what i can tell, the intake manifolds are different? can i just swap the manifolds and plug and play?

also i need to swap dizzy's right? how would i go about doing that?

any info would be much appreciated =) thanks guys!

wait, what?

You want to make your single cam an OBDII ?

Or are you doing a single cam to dual cam swap?

ah, makes sense.
Its to early and i got confused on the title.

So your putting a newer (S14) KA into your S13, I get it now.

hmmmm, I have read that shit, but dont remember.
Your trying to get that shit done today though, huh, lol.
thats why your up so early. lol

Call spencer down at Sidewayz performance, he might know.
Just tell him i told you to call and im coming down next week and will buy him lunch.

Im just busy with life.
trying to pay bills so i can build a full track car now.
kinda gone as far as i can with the SOHC.

Idiot. You don't convert the ECU.

To the OP- Drop the S14 longblock in with all S13 parts. We discuss this shit weekly in here, for someone who knows other members of the forum you don't seem to know much about the forum itself.

Just tired of rehashing the same shit daily for well over a decade. You think by now people would know there's nothing remotely possible that hasn't been discussed already. In detail.

That's true, and I know it's probably here SOMEWHERE, but after searching what I thought would be good tags, I couldn't find anything =\

Just messing about the butt joke btw.... Haha

thanks man =]

seriously... glad there's still knowledgeable people still on this forum.

you dont even need to do alll that since ur dealing with even more headaches...

as far as the intake...swap the temp sensor, TB with TPS,
exhaust , swap over ur manifold/egr pipe

s13 harness

and dizzy and maf....boom running motor...though if u have the s14 harness...i would deff use it and the s14 dizzy and hook that up to the s13 so it looks cleaner...just IMO...

set to TDC, crank, set timing

yes its that simple...

and as Russ said...its a weekly fucking thing, hence the frustration...

how can it be more of a headache? only reason i'd swap over the intake manifold because the s14 intake manifold has so many extra crap that the s13 doesn't need. Also, how are you able to use the s14 engine harness on the s13? cut up the F3 plug and pull it to the engine bay to wire it up to the gray and brown harness?

from my experience, the s14 intake manifold hits the s13 hood too. my suggestion only makes the engine as OEM as possible. instead of swaping small parts around the engine.

i didnt mean use the WHOLE s14 harness...just the section from resistor to dizzy... turns ur external coil distributer to S14 internal coil, and it looks clean...ive never had an s14 manifold hit my hood when i did the swaps...

and i agree its does make it more OEM with s13 intake...my last swap was only temporary and didnt get to smog...so im personally unsure if its smoggable with the s14 intake...

but i know that the s14 distributer conversion harness is smogable...

if im reading correctly on what your asking, then all you have to do is switch the intake manifold meaning, take the s14 one out and put the s13 one and change the dizzy to s13 and the wiring should all fit cause thats all thats different between them. unless you want to keep the s14 exhaust manifold then you just get a sr20 dp and it should bolt up to your s13. or you could give yourself a headache and keep the s14 intake manifold and rewire your whole harness to fit, or just get a s14 harness, but to avoid all that trouble just switch the intake manifold
