s13 VLSD into s14 open diff

can i swap an s13 VLSD into my s14 open diff housing with no modifications?

just swapping the internal parts into my open diff

Yes you can, both diff housings are R200. Just pull out the VLSD guts, slap on the S14 gear ring and shims. Bolt it back into the S14 diff housing and put the back cover on then you are set to re-install into the vehicle.
