I'm selling my Jim Wolf ECU setup that I have been running for about 2 years.
I am going over to a MAP based system because my tuner says that I can squeeze about another 40-50hp out of my setup if I have a full stand-alone ECU.
The Jim Wolf ECU is essentially a 91-94 Maxima ECU ($150) that I sent to Jim Wolf and for $595 they tuned it for my 740cc injectors and Ford Lightening MAF ($140).
The Tune is alittle rich so I purchased a black Apex'i SAFC-II ($250) and then took it to the dyno to clean it up a bit and lean it out some to make more power.
With this setup on the Dyno I made 301rwhp and I think it was 276tq at 13lbs of boost on the stock turbo.
I moved over to a Bullseye turbo and bought a flange to make my MAF blow-through. Now with that setup I was on the dyno last weekend and the car really wanted to open up. BUT, my clutch was slipping at full boost at about 4500rpms so it only made 320rwhp at 4500rpms and the tuner had to back it off.
So, I decided to change my whole setup to MAP while my car is down and I'm doing the clutch.
So I'm selling:
Jim Wolf Tech 700HP RB25DET ECU for $375
Ford Lightening MAF for $120
SAFC for $200
Total package $695 shipped.
This is a great deal because you will have to find a 91-94 maxima ecu first ($150-200) then send it to Jim Wolf to tune for $595 and wait about 3 weeks. Then you have to buy a Ford Lightening Maf which goes for OVER $200 ($275 new) and SAFC II's go about $200-250. So if you don't jump on my package you're lookin at close to $1300-1400.
Also, I forgot to mention. If you want to get the ECU reflashed you have to send it back to Jim Wolf and for only $100 they can change the setup to suit. Say if you want to use Z32 MAF or 550cc injectors instead of the Ford Lightening MAF and 740cc injectors.
I will post pictures of everything ASAP.
