i think it has an s14 case.
i dont even know.
it locks great. came off a Q45

do you know if this is a q45 ring and pinion as well? can you let me know what gearing it has?

That is a S13 diff not a Q45 diff. Q45 diffs are larger and have large eyelets. That has a small eyelets.

S13 diffs came with small eyelets aka front bolt eyelets, it also has the front ABS sensor port that was very common on USDM S13 VLSD's.

It has a s14 diff back cover on it with 5 bolt axles. You would have to open it up to look and see what ring and pinion it has.
