I have a 1993 240sx with a Ka24de under the hood. I was just wondering was type of spark plugs you guys use. Which type might give me alittle better performance..I want to swing by autozone this afternoon and pick up some goods to tune up the 240 just a little.
Thanks alot..

You should have waited around for advice from the guys here. Take the bosch plugs back and trade them in for NGK.
And if you haven't learned yet (or anyone else for that matter) never use Splitfire plugs in import engines, they will hurt your performance in an import car, but seem to work fine and improve performance in domestic cars.

They don't 'work' in ANY car. Well, they won't make things worse, but they're not worth the money.
An engine doesn't know where it was made.

Pshhh, Autozone wanted $10 a piece for the NGK's. Fuk that. PDM (www.pdm-racing.com) has them for $1.60 a piece. Indulge yourself.

I have yet to but the plugs in the 240 yet. But there really that bad??
iam going to lose performance.??? i already opened the box , but there is a guarante that if you dont feel the difference bosch will pay for the plugs.. i wonder if i can bring them back even with a opened box...i highly doubt it ...but its worth a try.
What NGK plugs are you guys talken about the iriduim plugs..??

So the bosch plugs arent going to hurt anything or make the car run like ****t...They just arent as great as the box says.
And my 93 240 has a 2.5 inch pipe from my cat to my n1 muffler with a newly rebuilt engine..I just put 1000 miles on it so tomorrow iam changing my oil and plugs .
I was told i can put synthetic in after 1000 miles i picked up syn power oil from vavoline the guy at autozone said its good..i was going to go mobil 1 but i listend to this guy..

Parts store guys typically don't know crap. In this case the stereotype holds true.
The +4s won't hurt your engine, but they're not worth $6 apiece. No loss, no gain over the $1.50 NGK's.
As for the oil, Valvoline synth is based on a conventional oil base stock... not as good as the true synthetic base stock used for Mobil1.

Thanks alot for all the information....Yah i figured they guy didnt know his head from his butt...But i just listened to him i guess next time when i need my next oil change i will switch to mobil 1.
Iam debating on buying a intake for my car..i dont know which one to buy. there is so many on the market...what do you guys suggest..and will i really feel a difference in the car with a intake and my exhaust..??
