Flashers went out..

so recently my flashers and turn signals went out randomly. i have checked the connections to all turn signals and checked the flasher unit on the side of the fuse box and replaced it, still no flashers. help on more things to check and i know that not having a stereo is bad for 240s bc many grounds are there but could this have any effect on the flashers?

The flasher unit is nowhere near the fusebox. You checked the wrong thing.

Where is it located, I was told it was a round black type relay behind the fusebox?
