While I'm no fan of using chinese knock off parts in safety equipment. If HANS is charging $42 for a $8.90 clip, I could see why. Bill Simpson is the kind of guy that would buy them from the same place HANS was. Cut the middle man out. Pretty straight shooter dude. I wonder how much SFI charges for those patches?

Of course he was trying to cut out the middle man. If you don't have to pay SFI (stupid money I am sure) to get the patches, there is money to be had. Everyone knows that, but if you want to sell SFI stuff that is what you have to do. It's a mandatory fee to sell SFI certified products. It's why gear that is just as good without the SFI cert is always much cheaper.
