Recently I googled a way to speed it up so I could speed up firefox at my job.

I found this little gem.

Speed Up Firefox web browser | Ubuntu Geek (http://www.ubuntugeek.com/speed-up-firefox-web-browser.html)

It actually fixes Firefox's annoying memory leak problem as well.

The article says it can speed it up like 3-30x but anything faster is better than nothing...

LEMME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!

There was a thread created about 6 years ago about a way to speed up Firefox.

Here's the link (for shits and giggles):

the newest firefox 3.6.2 addresses the memory leak problem... why the hell are you on firefox 2.0 still?

upgrade to google

Some sites still haven't fully supported it, as well as Chrome is still buggy.

Matter of fact, I don't even know why I still use chrome other than to say I'm using a Google browser. It isn't offering me any benefits.

I only slightly prefer it to firefox. Very Slightly.

Haha VERY slightly only because it seems a little bit "smoother" but when you can't get shit to work right on it, not to mention I HATE the way it saves passwords.

I'll go back to FF.

I still use Chrome at work love "incognito"

I like the password saving thing. Incognito is awesome. For me GC works with 85% of the web and FF 84.65.

I did a test and GC opens up and displays the webpage a little bit faster than FF.
