So here I am playing Sega GT...

I've been playing some A-Class racing in Sega GT for PC for the past 2 hours.  First thing I do, boom, used car dealer, buy myself an S13 Silvia Q's.  Jet black, nice car.  Pretty fast, corners well.  I own every single other car on the track, until I get to one track, which happens to have a Civic Type-R entered in the race each time.  Every race, he beats me by just a hairline.  After about 20 or so races, with the same outcome, what do I do?

Headed to the used car dealership again.  Threw the Q's in storage, bought a K's.  Boom.

Next race, that Civic Type-R had his collective ass handed to him <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

On the way, for my valiant efforts, I earned myself a Mazda Miata (ugh), AE86 Trueno (nice and drifty), and after I beat that Civic, I received an RPS13 180SX for my troubles <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I love this game.

How does that game compare to grand turismo3 on ps2.
I've never seen Sega GT.

Can't you buy a K right off the bat? I remember immediately buying the K and kicking everyone's ass with ease in A class. Then I took that miata and put $50,000 into it in mods. Unfortunately a miata with 400hp and extremely tight suspension was more difficult to drive then I could ever handle.

is that game like the one form the arcades or is it similar to the dreamcast version, cause the DC version sucked major balls and sold it to my friend after a couple days of looking at sucky graphics and horrible gameplay and physics.

Have you guys tried Driving Emotion Type S? The controls really suck, its like driving on ice, the thing that kept me playing though is how realistic the cars were modeled. In the S15 for example, using the in car view, all the gauges are accurate, same with the steering wheel. The engine sounded just like a real SR. And unlike other racing games VTEC or turbo cars have their real accurate kick in points. On the Celica, its cool to watch vvtl-i kick in at 5900ish RPM or the 2nd turbo kick in on the Skyline. All with accurate sounds too.

i eventually stopped playing GT3 all together, it got to boring, and i broke 2 controllers in a tantrum over them #### licenses! now i jus turn it on to look at the replays and dancing to "Are ya gonna Go my Way"

I think i'ma start playing it again though....

what other cool racing games are out? Tokyo Extreme.. do they have a S14 model in that?

Yea i have that one on PS2. Its at its best right when you really start moving up the ranks. After you beat the last guy it sucks cause you sell all your cars to afford the last couple mods you need to beat him, and for beating him, you dont get shit. The original Tokyo Extreme on DC is a lot better IMO.

I love Sega GT for PC because it has so much Nissan stuff in it. &nbsp;S13 Silvias, S15s, S15s, R32 Skylines, R33s, R34s. &nbsp;It also has 180SXs. &nbsp;

My current car of choice is my totally pimped out Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec, which currently (according to the game) puts 948ps (what the hell is "ps"?) to the road.

any difference between sega gt for dreamcast and pc? i own every single car in dreamcast. &nbsp;and theyre all maxed out on hp. &nbsp;my viper has 1400+hp. &nbsp;i hit 287mph but i keep loosing control.

Wow... &nbsp;That version is REALLY different from mine.

My version has no domestic cars in it at all. &nbsp;It has mostly Japanese cars, about half of which I haven't heard of.
