Hi guys ! My name is Andy and im from Montreal quebec. I'm now building or ''rebuilding'' my S13 for Street/track use. The car is striped down to bare chassi for the past 4 months and sandblasted to eliminate rust ! Up here in montreal, winter is the enemi for all cars. To secure roads in winter they put salt to melt snow and ice. So all that calcium help rust to eat sheet metal:zombie:.

So there it is

that sucks that you guys have to deal with snow over there. how many months of the year are you guys allowed to use the tracks? how drastically are you rebuilding? i like these garage builds the best. anyone can take their car to a shop and get it built but how can you race something you didnt have a hand in the building? looked good before you tore her apart. sand blasting is smart idea. any plans to keep the rust off? undercoating? good luck with the build. subscribed.

Alright so i send of the body to sandblast. Did a very nice job ! So every rust surface was gone and small rust holes became bigger one.... but nothing to big. The project is going on the right way.

Very nice so far! It's nice to see that you have taken the time to sand blast the frame! Make sure that you don't drive this during the cold months! (Save it from the salt and grime)...

Alright guys. Been a while whitout posting ! Im patching rust again ! I started boxing up the rear subframe for more rigidity. And im buying body parts. Since i got the car ( about 4 years ) I was only buying the sr20det and engine/suspension/brake upgrades. Now its time for some style :P . I already got the kouki tailights and the pignose lip so i think my kit is complete. I bought chuki sides and the kouki rear valence kit.

All oem stuff

All of a sudden I fee a lot better about spending $5k in Alberta for a 90,000km babied automatic coupe. I'm glad I don't have to go through that much chassis work as you.

At least you are taking the time to do it right. This is going to be a nice car.
