It may just be me, but It seems I have the only S13 with cupholders? I'll take a pic of them asap, but they look factory to me. They're integrated in the armrest lid, with another lid over them.

Are they just little ingraved circles that go in like 1 inch and dont really hold anything, or are they deep and hold well?
If anything someone should put use to the rear seats and make something that you can juss wedge between the front and rear seats.

are there two of them? where are they in relation to the stick or E-brake?

They sure as hell look OEM, lol....
They're behind the shifter and e-brake, integrated into the armrest. Everyone I've asked (like 20 people locally) say they look OEM to them. I'll take a pic tomorrow and try to get it developed soon.
Yes, there are two of them. It's a little tight for two 32oz cups, but paper ones will fit and stay just fine (car cups' bottoms is too small for two full drinks and aggressive driving :D). I sometimes hit my elbow on my drink when shifting, but that's no biggie. Not like I knock it over or anything.

I could swear I remember someone posting a pic of this a while back.

yeah those are the armrest ones. They are stock. A kid I work with has them in his '92 SE. They are pretty shallow though, like you mentioned and hard to find. I prefer the ash tray plan, I just need to modify it a little more to make it perfect. Plus, I only need one cupholder because I am selfish.

Yeah they are pretty shallow for other drinks, but a 32oz paper cup fits in just right...

No offense but... you retard! You are telling me that from your mental picture, your physical car, or you little drawing that you cannot figure out what your right arm rests on? And its something (a... compartmentof sorts) that will lift up and reveal 2 shallow cup holders...:(
Personally, for a cupholder I like the Xax one that Dousan has. Holds very well all sorts of drinks, and it also looks JDM Tyte. With that and his clear SRD cellphone holder vent clip, a clear bubble shift knob, Hello Kitty hanging from the mirror, a double DIN Kenwood CD/tape player (hot item with the drifters) and a CB radio, it would be total JDM. one day dude, one day....

Is that arm rest? The way I sit, my arm can't rest on that.

hmm, looks good to me,but I have never seen that before. How is it when shifting with something in them?
Wouldnt it be possible to just get some cupholders similar to that design out of a car and cut them out and just shove them in the armrest.
Maybe one of these days I will have to visit the junkyard and grab a bunch of cupholders and try and make em fit.
My bros MX6 has a nice factory one, works like the one in the vents, but it sits in the dash under the vent.

Wow:eek:  that looks so factory, that i think it is! but it does look like it would get in the way of shifting

I think I could fit one in the "back" of that armrest but I don't think the space in front would be deep enough to accomodate a second cup. Thanks for the pics though since now I have an idea how to go about doing it I can try out some ghettorific mods to fit a large cup in there :)

Even in Japan these are almost impossible to find. Even then they are in a not so good spot. Those in the pic are broken too, they used to have rings in each cupholder for the small cans they use a lot in japan, they flip up out of the way.
