hey whats up guys, im in the process of replacing my rear subframe bushings. I bought the Energy suspension poly S14 rear subframe pineapple bushings, i already burned the rubber out and cut the metal sleeve out but i think i might have rand into problem now. My question now is how much is the bushing suppose to be sticking out? i put the new ones in they went all the way down but they seem to be a little to big, the top is not siting flush with the top of the subframe. is this the way the bushings supposed to look? someone please help me thanks guys.

im pretty sure they are designed like that on purpose. all of the after market solid aluminum bushing do the same thing.

He just told you above, the flange should sit flush against the subframe, so you need to press it in more. Sanding the outer shell and removing any debris will help.

but i did that, i took everything out its all nice and clean and its also all the way in. the only way i could make it go in more is if i cut bottom the part that supports the bushing.

that doesn't help much... lol.

look inside and see if there is anything blocking the bushing from going in all the way. maybe you left the inner ring thing in there.

if the inside is actually completely empty then either smooth out the inside surface or force that bitch in all the way.

or get a bigger picture so we can straight up tell you.

Grab a ruler and take some measurements to see if the bushing is bottoming out or if there is enough depth for it to fit further in.
