so my car sat for 10yrs+ before i bought it. thus the gas in the tank turned gooey :wtf:
i didnt want to remove the gas tank because in order to do that, you have to take the diff down to access the gas tank.
so i did the second best thing, just clean it where it is lol :cj:
i used 3 gallons of purple power, air compressor, air blower thingy with suction pipe, and a jug to pour the excess gas out.
so i took out the gas pump (replaced it as well), and i sucked the old gas out using the air blower thingy lol:whip:

the other end of the suctioning hose i tapped it into the single gas line:
(green hose goes into air blower thingy)

this way, i could suck out the gas from the driver side of the tank.
after all the gas was out, i disconnected the green hose, and just stuck inside the gas tank. for this, i used my hand, and stuck my hand inside as well so as i can feel the gas and not just suck out air lol
*make sure you use gloves, cuz the gas will make your hand all wrinkly and fugly :dead:
after all the gas was out, i poured all the 3 gallons of purple power into the tank.
let it sat overnight, and the next day, i did the same procedure as for the gas.
i also hooked up my green hose to the engine bay gas line to suck out the gas in the lines.
after all was done, i added a gummout product to remove the water, and crap from the gas tank.
all in all, it worked out, because my fuel pump is working, (not clogging up) and my car isnt malfunctioning no more :naughtyd:
hope it helps.
sooo, use purple power to clean your gas tanks :ghey:
