OK i cant figure out where its leaking from. I have searched but all I can find is info on trunk leaks. My window seal is good from what i can tell. Its seems to be coming from the firewall? It is a lot of water too. Is there some sort of catch under the hood by the windshield? It has been getting worse for the last year or so. Today I had an inch and a half of standing water beneath my seat. Any ideas would be great, already had to trash my carpet.

I had leaks inside of my cabin in which the water would pool behind my front seats. I pulled my whole interior and I found out it was coming from the roof.
You are prob have to pull your interior if you want to find the exact source of the problem, you also might find other things you did not want to know about

I have no sunroof but it still a possibility. Yea it fucking SUCKS. the only rust i have is because of this leak. Its starting to rust where my seat bolts to the floor. So i wanna fix it asap and get to the rust before it becomes a real prob.

SHIIIIT. OK thanx guys. It might be sneaking in through the top of the hatch, or maybe the corner glass. Interior is coming out tonight.

I had the same problem. I found strategic spots under the car and drilled small holes. In and out: all good ;)

I have a nasty leak that builds up behind my D/S seat. I thought it was coming from the rear quarter, but I think its now coming from my moonroof. Time to rip the interior out.

Has the windshield been replaced? The glass could not have sealed well enough (the urethane, not the rubber seal outside the glass). Seen that many times at work.
Make sure your fresh air duct is sealing well at the cowl. Thats a good entrance for water if its by the firewall. Also, running defrost runs the A/C, make sure your water drain is draining.

Welcome to owning something from the early 90's! I stripped all the carpet andthe back seats, found a pond in my spare wheel well and used the seat mounting holes to drain the water...

Here's what I did. I taped paper towels All along my front end of the car Windshield, seats, roof, windows, floorboards you name it. Then ran a garden hose. Which ever ones got wet at the highest point indicated where the leak was coming from. Hope this helps.

Check out the heater hoses.
my s14 starting leaking in water, and it turned out to be the heater core that was busted.
also, take off the windshield wiper guard (the one below the wipers) and with a hose, have someone pour constant water, and duck under the dash till you see where the water trickles down from.
if it doesnt, then more than likely its the heater core. :w00t:
