V6-Maxima
Boxer6-porsche is only one aren't they?
V8-360 Modena/F40

4cyl- the s-15 of course.
6-cyl, Difficult, either the R34 gt-r or the Supra TT
8cyl-ZO6 corvette ( just for the style) or a 2002 Camaro convertable, ( last year there being produced)
10cyl- viper ( would leave it in the garage)
12 cyl- ummmm the Ferrari F-40, and i think the F-50 is a 12 cyl also, so that would be it if it is.

Rotary... rx-8. I just remember rotors, I would take the cosmos triple rotor engine, and my brother found evidence that there is a 6 rotor engine in existence too... that would be reall cool. Like 1200hp naturally aspirated... the f40 is a twin trubo v8 though. I think.

4cyl- S15
6cyl- R34GTR or MkV Supra (how could you forget this catorgory? */slaps 2B*
V6- Honda NSX? Not a lot of V6's I like
V8- Depends, I prefer over 5L engines, bit hard to say
V10- Like I have any chance of owning one
V12- Even less chance of owning one, but a Lambo owns everything here

here's what I think

4cyl - S2000 (just wait for the turbo kit)
6cyl - Supra TT, even they crush skylines
8cyl - 360 Modena F1
10cyl - Henessy Viper
12cyl - Mclaren F1

The rx8 is way better than the 3rd gen, it make 270hp N/A and that is at 8000 rpms. They are not allowed in some places to give hp figures over 8000rpms. The renesis engine has shown to comfertably put out over 300 hp around 9500-10000 rpm's... still that is n/a 1.3 liter engine, that is a totally new breed of rotor. Doesn't eat as much oil thicker walls meant for greater durability and a host of other knick knacks that make the engine incredible... when there is a turbo for that it will make easily over 400hp, and I would be surprised if mazda didn't make like a high model where they do just that.

And the s2000's have turbo kits, the thing is the s2000 makes a loto f power based on high compression, so you have o change the internals to a great degree to make them work well with decent boost, however the cylinder walls are virtually indistructable with carbon fiber and composites making sure the walls never break.

as per the 2002 FIA Forumula One Technical Regulations Handbook, "constructors are to use engines with no more than 10 cylinders and displacing no more than 3000 cc's."

The F2002 is a V10, not a V12.

I'm not sure about the flat ten's in formula one. I thought that the rule books changed that and you can't have a "wedge" greater than 179 degrees! Maybe thats that other racing (CART/ Indy) Oh well, I do remember one of the race teams talking about there "v" was 179 degrees in order to not exceed the rule book and also give the lowest center of gravity. I think it was Cart after all. Oh well. Also surprised no one mentioned anything anout my Inline five pick -Volvo s70.....oh well.

UHHHHHHH, NO!

Championship Auto Racing Teams uses 2.65 Liter Single Turbocharged DOHC V8's supplied by Toyota Racing Development, Honda Performance Development, and Ford-Cosworth. (at least till '03, when they switch to the NA engine, and Honda drops out.)

The Indy Racing League uses 3.5 Naturally Aspirated DOHC V8's supplied by Chevrolet and Infiniti, and built by third party engine builders.

CART and IRL run on Methanol.

F1 fuel does resemble gas, but the 2 main ingredients are Toluene and Xylene. very high octane, but very nasty stuff.

i'll bet u could mix up your own gas, they sell that stuff at home depot. but i would not reccomend it. many speedheads have tried it and come out with 2nd or 3rd degree burns cause they dont mix it correctly.
