New "life" documentary on discovery channel!

Ok I know I'm a geek, but I am REALLY looking forward to the new "Life" documentary series that is airing starting this sunday on the discovery channel. It's made by the same people that made the "Planet Earth" documentary series a few years back. I got TOTALLY hooked on that one. Just wondering if I'm the only car geek here that's geeking out about an animal documentary! LOL!

As long as Oprah stays on the subject matter and desn't feed me her holier then thou, and women empowerment, BS then it might be okay. I thought Weaver had the emotions down perfect though. They should of just brought her back.

I think it will be amazing reguardless of narrartion.

for you guys who live on the west coast i suggest you goto cal tech and walk around there. if possible get hooked up with a guided tour. I had the opportunity to hang out with my geology teacher at caltech watching him mess with state of the art equipment there. and also got to see Einsteins house.

I solemnly retract this statement. Oprahs narration is terrible and is ruining it. No emotion, terrible attitude, and you can tell she is reading the script. WTF what a waste. And is it me or is er voice just annoying as hell. Bring Sigouney Weaver back. :wtc:

I can't honestly say that Oprah's voice ruined it for me at all, but I certainly CAN say that Sigourney Weaver was WAAAAAAYYYYYYYY better. She wouldn't have even been on my list of people I MIGHT consider if half the world died at the same time.

The footage was awesome though, as expected, and in the end that is what we all are REALLY interested in. I will definitely be watching the rest of this series.
