Im a little confused on which side to install my tial bov. The instuctions said on the cold pipe by the throttle body and then i see people with it on the hot pipe. Does it really matter? also its going on a stock sr if needed to know with FMIC

well having it closer to the throttle body the blow of valve releases air quickly once the throttle body plate closes, from my understanding.for stock sr a stock blow of valve recirculates air back into the intake system where the filter goes and since its on the other side it takes less room, so the question is u have all new piping? or stock sidemount?

put it on the cold side. The reason for this is that the valve wont be affected by heat as much. remember how rubber can expand when heated?
In the end, being as you probably have a stock turbo setup, it shouldn't matter much. however having it on the cold side will not only allow for quicker valve response, it may also allow for the hardware to last longer because the rubber seal wont be heated as much.

I had my blitz blow off moved to the cold side when I went v-mount. I love it
