Just replaced my odyssey battery to a westco miata battery on my s14. but when i got everything into place the neg battery terminal was too small.

temporary fix: i clamped the neg connector down a bit so that it'll stay in place but i can still rotate it with finger force. im not worried about it disconnecting off of the battery for now but has anyone else ran into this problem with the westco battery??

Clamp it, then run a screw between the terminal and lug, in the open portion. Holds dead tight.

You can also get a terminal spacer. It fixes the problem you're describing.

Yea either cut and solder in a new clamp (I'd measure with a string or something because most of the universal clamps don't fit right either) or get a spacer but none of the parts stores around me sell battery terminal spacers any more :-/ I chopped off my battery cables - got a couple 4 gauge straight copper tube lugs (Look like these (http://www.remybattery.com/Products/2-Gauge---12-Straight-Tube-Lug__5953H.aspx)) - heated them with a blow torch, slowly filled them with rosin core solder and stuck the stripped cable in and dipped them in water real fast to set them. Then I got terminals with wing nuts and tightened all my cables down that way. It makes it alot easier to power aftermarket parts that way also.
