I just want to make sure before I were to purchase, but are the MB Battles that I would be buying from Discount Tire the same as KrazyBigMac's hatch here:
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a143/Xx_Eclipsekid_xX/Mac1-7-10004.jpg
vs.
MB Wheels Battle custom wheels in the Houston - Southwest Area - Discount Tire/America's Tire (http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/wheels/mb_wheels/product/submitProductSize.do?r=TSWINT%7Cpc%7C77083&pc=48666)
I know it seems like a stupid question, but I just want to be certain before I were to order because I cant get a good look from their website. It should also bring a quick /endthread
Thanks

They're NOT discontinued.
They're not going to discontinue something they've been repetitively selling out of.

Used...I guess. I just bought 6 18x9.5 +15, 2 months ago when they had $100 of sale.
Weird how they don't have the 18's listed. They mostly likely just out of stock, just check back on their site weekly.

You have to wait if you want to get them brand new.
Otherwise Zilvia is probably your last bet.
anyone running 17/18 stagger?

Is he running spacers at all? Because thatd be some pretty decent poke for a +15

It's a 9.5 +15, not a 9 +15.
Plus he's not really running that much camber.
So yes, that's how much it will poke on stock S13 fenders.

No, I'm pretty sure some sportmax would take that title. Battles aren't bad, just played out. I don't know how you could say that they are ugly, they look dope.

just my opinion but my opinion is usually the right one

Wheels are played out, but they sure do look good on a car as long as it's pulled off correctly.

Ok, apparently I don't suck as bad at Honda as you do... In other parts of the world that car is neither an Acura nor a TSX. Acura IS Honda by the way...

Oh, this post is really helpful. So let me get this straight... YOU bump a thread whose last reply was at 5:xx (my time) YESTERDAY to tell people that they need to stop a 2 post converstaion that apparently ended at 5:xx YESTERDAY. That makes total sense, I swear...

Hey BE NICE!
And can you find me a better looking wheel for $100-$160 each that would look as good/better and have similar size/offset than these to start a 5 lug conversion? I don't think so. Also I think it is an upgrade from my 15x7 +0 Meshies, no?

I have to agree. 17/18 stagger looks great on hatches. On coupes, I prefer square fitment (including s14's). Just my opinion though.

I picked my 17x9.5's up today. Gun metal. DTD is SOLD out of bronze as well as 18x9.5 +15 so no 17/18 for me any time soon. The gun metal looks really fucking good in person, wheels are light as fuck for being cast and lifetime warranty. I dont give a shit if they're played. They will look good on my sexy style bn fc rx7......annnnnnd lifetime warranty!
I haz question, those of you WITH battles, not people who dont or never had them.......
Where were yours made?
"made in china" was cast into mine. It's pretty trivial but i thought i'd throw that out there. If mb has their wheels cast in china, why the piss does dtd keep selling out of them?
!Zar!
03-24-2010, 01:50 PM
Just because something is made in china doesn't mean that they have to have an endless supply.
MB makes more than just two different wheels, so they make X amount until Y orders or so.
Then it takes time to get them out.
These aren't M&M's.
17/18 is fine a a coupe. You all are trippin.
NoPistons!
03-24-2010, 06:09 PM
Well, they should.
Fuck. I wonder how long i'll have to wait before i can scoop up some bnib with warranty 18's......

So now that you have seen your face every time you look into a mirror, do you consider yourself ugly or just don't like mirrors?
also, I know dtc/ atc will be getting some in on April 1st. that is when their shipment will be here and clear from long beach.
