im about to buy 15x8 rims and i have 195/60r15 tires laying around..can they be mounted?

would they be too skinny..idk how tires are strectched and who can strectch them

they will fit just fine, any tire shop should be able to mount them. If you can afford it I would get some wider tires, but when I saw 15x8, I assumed you can't afford wider tires.

yah right now i cant afford rims and tires so i was thinking about putting the 195's on until they wear down and then get wider ones. thanks alot

you know what the numbers on a tire mean, right?
im going to assume you dont, no offense.
so the 3 digit number is the width of the tire in mm (millimeters)
you can type in mm to inch converter in google to see how wide those
tires are. 195mm=7.67inches.... so its not too much of a stretch... & i understand you cant afford wider tires... the 2nd # is the sidewall 'aspect ratio' basically the height of the tire. in your example, the side wall is 60 % of the width of the tire (195).
im sorry if you knew this, just trying to help
