here is what i did with my boost gauge. i didnt want to be like everyone else and have a pillar pods, i didnt want to lose my middle vents, and almost any where else would not be practical to be looking away while driving. so i hit up the junkyard, grabbed another steering column cover and went to autozone and got a single gauge a pillar pod. after cutting it down to the shape a needed, i put the gauge off center because the pillar itself had a curve in it. i molded it so that the curve of the pod starts in the middle and the gauge is slightly to the left. i still havnt had the time to complete it but i wanted to throw this idea out there, just trying to think outside the boxhttp://i763.photobucket.com/albums/xx280/buentellomma/018.jpghttp://i763.photobucket.com/albums/xx280/buentellomma/019.jpghttp://i763.photobucket.com/albums/xx280/buentellomma/020.jpghttp://i763.photobucket.com/albums/xx280/buentellomma/0132.jpghttp://i763.photobucket.com/albums/xx280/buentellomma/014.jpg

I have my boost gauge in the truck. It works better that way for me.

I hope you were off throttle on that last picture... 3lbs at 3600?

It looks good, but I don't like how it's not centered. That would bother me.

i was going to center it , but i liked it a little better off to the side. i was trying to take the pic going down the road and i had to let off the throttle, thats why im only making a few punds of boost. i have 000000000 miles because i tried to roll back my miles to match the front clips odometer and it jacked it up.

This was a popular gauge placement when I was into VW/Audi's. Most of them were offset so they didn't interfere with the cluster. Google it.

+ 1 for doing something yourself. As the guy above said, being off center would bug the crap out of me...is my only problem.

Mine is similar, but I recessed it down into the cover so it's not sticking out like a dildo.

i like it, i just have to find time to finish it. my plan was to have it centered but it kinda got in the way of the tach, so i offcentered it some so it only covers 110mph up. thanks for everyones inputs , i hope to have some finished pics up soon
