So for the last couple of months I've been in serious search for a decent car hauler so that I can rest assured I will get the 240 home after the events. If you browse C-list regularly you figure out that its often necessary to imagine how one might fu*k up their own advert; hense the search query "trailor" (there are 67 "trailors" for sale in the greater ATL area...)

Anyways, the point here is that I was curious about others transport methods. I've really been looking into "late model" and dirt track open car haulers. Its sort of a difficult one to search but these guys often put together the ideal open rig for usually under 2000 bucks. Anybody using something cool like this? Post a picture, tell me what you're pulling with and some info about your trailer

Paid 500.00 for the trailer. Then bought new hubs, brakes, emergency brake box, led lights all around, rewired it, new saftey chains, tounge hitch, and D-rings. I didnt feel it was wide enough, so I increased the width by 6". Bought new wood planks and stained them, fresh paint, new wheels and tires. Into it about 1500.00 But it is basically a brand new trailer.

^ Nice! I'm not apposed to overhauling the trailer I find, if enough of what I want is there, but I'm trying to avoid it. Another good thing about the trailers built for dirt track/late model, is they usually have them set really wide. Have any idea what the trailer alone weights?

I have no clue, never had it to the scale, It is really light though.

^ It looks like it would be. I'll be pulling my car with my 4.0L Cherokee, once I re-gear it, so I have to steer away from the "heavy duty" rigs.
